simple stories

I'm in the middle of developing a script about a man who is a misfit. It's a simple story, but visually challenging. I know it's a story that's been told already. Let's face it, all the stories have been told. I just have to keep myself from feeling daunted by all the well told simple stories already completed, like this one.
